Our Transparency Commitment
Worthy Steps Foundation is built on trust, the trust of families who seek support, and the trust of donors who believe in our mission. We are committed to being honest about where we are, what we have done, and how every peso is used.
This page will be updated regularly with clear, simple updates on our progress and use of funds.
Where We Are Today
Worthy Steps Foundation was founded by Ruth I. Magdato in March 2026.
We are currently in the early-stage development phase of building a future safe haven for children with disabilities in Antipolo, Philippines.
As of now, progress includes:
- Securing the land for the future facility
- Initial site preparation and clearing
- Ongoing work to install proper fencing for safety and protection of the property
We are at the beginning of this journey, and every step forward is made possible through support and careful planning.
How Donations Are Used
At this stage, donations are primarily used for:
- Land development (fencing, cleaning, preparation)
- Initial materials and site improvements
- Website and communication tools to reach supporters and families
- Early planning and foundational setup for future services
As we grow and move into construction and program delivery, a more structured allocation model will be published here.
Current Focus (2026)
Our immediate priorities are:
- Completing fencing around the property
- Ensuring the land is safe, secure, and accessible
- Preparing the site for future development phases
Organizational Structure
Worthy Steps Foundation is an independent initiative founded and led by Ruth I. Magdato.
It is currently in the process of formal registration in the Philippines. Updates will be shared here as soon as registration is completed.
Future Transparency
As the foundation grows, we are committed to publishing:
- Annual updates on progress
- Clear summaries of how donations are used
- Milestones in construction and program development
Our first formal report will be released once operations and funding scale further.
